An authentic Modern Mediterranean Restaurant and Hookah Lounge “Olive & Grill” is looking for a dependable, fast and ambitious Manager. The focus is on the operation, which consists of managing people, the brand, ensuring service meets the brand, managing inventories, controlling costs as it relates to product and labor to ensure budgets are met. Ideal candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, be self-motivated, strong leadership, thrive on achievement of goals, flexible, detail oriented. Job Purpose: Satisfies clients, manage employees and increase sales.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience.
  • Preferably multilingual manager.
  • Ability to efficiently operate POS system, MS Excel, MS Office.
  • Extraordinary customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments, and all co-workers in a team.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and minimal supervision.

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assisting with the hiring, disciplinary action, and mentorship/training of staff/ and boosting employee morale.
  • Recording of attendance, making shift edits in prep for payroll.
  • Cooperating with kitchen.
  • Having all Health Department/Safety requirements met.
  • Makes weekly schedule.
  • Handle disgruntled customers by offering suggestions and solutions.
  • Ensuring food and service are consistent of company standards.
  • Ensure all corporate catering orders; food, service, presentation timing and pricing is consistent.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Floor planning reservations, host stand procedures and managing the flow of the restaurant.
  • Inventory Management of all products.
  • Increasing sales and minimize costs for food, beverage, supply utility and labor costs.
  • Ensure that all Invoices are coded properly and completed in a timely matter.
  • Planning and carrying out projects from the Owner.
  • Strong understanding, accurate use and ability to troubleshoot issues related to POS and ordering technology.
  • Music and entertainment managing.
  • Immediately reporting problems.
  • Opening and Closing daily reports.

SALARY:

$60.000 / year  (strong BONUS system based on KPI's)

Olive and Grill is a Modern Mediterranean Restaurant and Hookah Lounge that is located in Studio City in the charming terrace under Olives trees. Olive & Grill terrace is 2500 sq. ft., with outdoor bar with Hookah Lounge, adorned in a gardenesque setting serving tapa style Mediterranean cousins on the traditional mangal charcoal grill. This is where you can enjoy lunch or brunch in the sun and dinner under the stars.
