Here at The Hive, we strive to make healthy choices fun and satisfying. From superfood bowls and smoothies to organic wellness shots and paninis, we have something for vegans and their omnivore friends alike. We're looking for some health conscious people with initiative, ready to put their whole selves into crushing the superfood and super-smoothie game! Our Front of House team ensures every guest has the best experience possible from the moment they're welcomed through the door. We are looking for friendly, outgoing people who have a passion for health and making a positive impact on the people in their community. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment, have a positive attitude, be a quick learner, and have strong communication and social skills.
Barista experience a plus but not required. Flexible schedule preferred. Knowledge of superfood/nutrition a big plus
-What you'll be doing-
Barista Lite- Make espresso drinks/tonics according to recipes in timely manner, maintain espresso machine
Own Your Drawer- Ensure orders are placed correctly in the POS (we use Revel), give correct change, cash in and out drawer at beginning and end of day
Guiding Customers Through Menu Options- Our menu isn't large, but it can be confusing to those unfamiliar with superfoods or nutrition. We'll teach you the basics, but you have to help our guests make the best selections for themselves by mastering knowledge of everything we do. Concise communication is a must
Quality Control - Keep track of food order tickets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of orders and communicating any issues to the kitchen. Run food out to tables
Maintain a Clean Dining Area- Buss and wipe down tables as soon as guests leave, sweep, and restock. Perform all opening and closing duties according to checklists
Smile Through Service- We love our customers and strive to make our store a welcoming hub in our community. Check in on customers throughout their visit, make suggestions on retail items, make them smile! Going above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed and valued is a must.
