LSP technologies, Inc., seeks an Automation Systems Engineer in Dublin, Ohio, to engage in R&D of high energy pulsed laser systems for metal surface enhancement, peen forming of metals, and non-destructive testing of composite materials.
Requires minimum Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Controls Engineering with a concentration in control theory and process controls; 3.5+ years of work experience in the development of controls and automation systems using Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Beckhoff Twincat control systems; subject matter expertise in design and development of safety related systems; certification as a functional safety engineer (CFSE) to IEC61508, 61511, or 62061; expertise in development of automated machine software using ladder logic, function block and text-based plc languages; expertise in HMI and alarm management systems development and design in accordance with EEMUA 191 and ISA101; advanced user of electrical database driven CAD software such as Solidworks Electrical, EPLAN or COMOS; ability to analyze and apply industry specifications such as ANSI, IEC, NFPA and ISO; and experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
