JOB TITLE: Outside Catering Sales 




SALARY RANGE: $65,000-75,000


Outside sales person responsible for procuring new businesses and maintaining relationships with exisiting business guests. Looking for an individual who is self-sufficient and accountable with experience in exceeding sales goals and targets. 

Essential functions:

  1. Create new business and lead generation
  2. Network for the restaurant and the brand
  3. Own the execution of catering
  4. Maintain relationship with previous and potential catering customers 


The catering sales and operations manager is responsible for:

  • Growing our Chick-fil-A catering business through
    • Increasing delivery/pickup catering sales to local businesses (targeting entertainment industry)
    • Actively looking for opportunities to set up ADPs and seeking major outsides sales opportunities (stadiums, conferences, award shows, etc.)
    • Developing business partner relationships with local schools to look for opportunities to sell in their concession stands, fundraise and host spirit nights
    • Executing a systemized approach to Business of the Day catering surprise & delight events
  • Overseeing a well-executed catering program with the following components:
    • Ensuring detailed order taking by all leaders
    • Delivering the Chick-fil-A brand to all catering clients. This includes: delivering on-time orders (when available), serving and cleaning up for guests, and following thru with clients (thank you cards, email, phone calls, etc.)
  • Cultivating relationships within the community
    • Chamber of Commerce, LAGLC, local businesses, schools (Hollywood High School), etc.
    • Identifying any community events that we should be a part of, such as movie premieres, music or film festivals, (ex. Sunset & Dine)
    • Handling all sponsorship opportunities to display the brand within the community

Measures of Success :

We will know the manager of catering sales and operations is successful upon attaining the following:

  • Increase total outside sales from 2% (average is 2018) to 4% by year end 2019

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay Structure:

  • Target compensation: $75k including commission.
