Role Requirements

  1. Must be fluent in English
  2. Must be a people-person, kind, respectful, a self-motivator, have a cheerful disposition, out-going, enthusiastic and be tolerant of close contact with other people
  3. Able to handle conflict in a professional manner
  4. Must have a Guest First mindset
  5. Unexpired California Food Handlers Certification
  6. Able to total bills, accept payment, accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  7. Compile daily financial reports
  8. Completed New-Hire Training Benchmark

Position Responsibilities and tasks

● Know your work schedule and be on time for every shift

● Adhere to Uniform Standards (Correct, Clean, and Professional) at all times

● Understand, Value and Follow Safe Work Practices at all times

● Full Product Knowledge

● Take accurate Guest Dine-in and Take-out Orders and input them into the POS correctly

● Coordinate the entire station and communicate with front and back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.

● Assist with stocking and removing dishes and silverware during the dining experience (Pre-Bussing) and cleaning and resetting vacated tables (Bussing)

● Provide a favorable image of Holy Cow at all times and to promote our objectives and enhance public recognition of our areas of endeavor

● Pour Wine and Beer

● Assist and support Co-Workers during the shift

● Assist and support other departments when time allows

● Maintain all work areas during the shift (Stocking, Cleanliness, etc…)

● Complete Side-work thoroughly and in a timely manner with minimal supervision

● Follow all Meal and Rest Break Requirements

● Take direction from Management and Supervisors during your shift

● Other duties as assigned

Typical working conditions          

  • Predominantly standing and walking
  • Repeat the same physical activities, such as but not limited to serving Food and Beverages
  • Respond quickly in a demanding environment while staying Calm and Professional
  • Close contact with other people
  • Work indoors, but may work in outdoor serving areas
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting (approximately up to 30 lbs)- Ask For Help!
