Job Description:

The Catering Sales Manager serves as the main contact, relationship builder and brand ambassador for Qdoba’s Catering guests within a defined market. The Catering Sales Manager will focus on proactively identifying, qualifying, and securing new catering business as well as manage current catering business and relationships. This position serves as the feet-on-the street for Qdoba Catering in their specific market. 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Creates and executes a targeted sales growth strategy plan for increasing catering sales in the market
  • Engages with existing guests, to ensure ongoing support and repeat catering sales
  • Explores new catering guests by cold calling, office / business visits, mailers, emails and sampling opportunities 
  • Creates targeted lists to make contact with every business within the trade area and provide them with      catering collateral materials 
  • Represents as a local brand ambassador and personal liason between the Catering Department and the guest
  • Works closely with Catering Specialists, GMs, and Regional Managers to discover and pursue additional catering business 
  • Takes ownership of relationships with guests
  • Participates in networking, Chamber and community partnership events in an effort to garner additional catering opportunities 
  • Works with the Marketing Team to create catering tools and collateral that can be provided to new potential guests
  • Maintains well-documented guest information in Salesforce 


  • Generates catering orders on a local market level
  • Works with Catering Department and restaurant to ensure that orders are      completed with 100% accuracy and timeliness 
  • Works with Catering Department Manager to review standings and status of current guests
  • Utilizes lists to activate specialized and targeted outreach to guests 
  • Develops a plan and strategy and submits for approval
  • Maintains ongoing communication with catering guests through various channels: phone, in-person business visits, email


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales and/or marketing role
  • Experience in the hospitality and/or food and beverage industry is preferred
  • Motivated, self-starter that can work independently the majority of the time
