Chocolate Manufacturer - Seasonal Assembly Person (Los Angeles)

This is a full time seasonal position in our Assembly and Shipping department.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
This position focuses on assembling our chocolates accurately and to our standards, learning the various tasks involved in putting together all of our products. It also requires the ability to pull customer orders and pack them properly for shipment. UPS or FedEx shipping experience preferred.
The person should be detail-oriented, and be able to work fast and efficiently. This person needs to be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
This person must be dependable on a daily basis and have reliable transportation (Public transportation is satisfactory). Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5:30. There will be mandatory overtime involved during busy periods, including after hours and weekends, which is compensated at time and a half. The seasonal period runs from September/October through December. This person must be able to work overtime as needed.
Please note that this is a temporary Seasonal Position.
Supervision is provided by the Production Manager. Position requires ability to perform with minimal supervision and interruption. Communication with manager is key.
