The Food Server position must help navigate our clientele  while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our restaurant's policies and procedures to ensure that all of our guests enjoy a complete dining experience.  They must be welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. While driving sales, it is mandatory that all food servers thoroughly understand their guests, anticipate their needs and ensure an excellent guest experience. They must be able to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly. A server must demonstrate high-level knowledge of all food and beverages through eloquence and descriptiveness by understanding the following:

  • Classic Food/Wine Service
  • Customer Service 
  • Experience in an upscale dining establishment 
  • Food/Beverage Pairing 
  • Food Preparation Knowledge 
  • Food Safety Knowledge 
  • POS Systems

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

  • Take food and beverage orders in a timely manner and enter them into our system
  • Full knowledge of all items on food and beverage menus
  • Possess excellent customer service skills 
  • Ability to respond quickly and intelligently to requests or questions from clients
  • Know when to escalate customer service issues to management team
  • Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment 
  • Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
  • Remove used silverware and plates between courses and provide for next course
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests
  • Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years serving in upscale dining restaurant experience required 
  • Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast-paced restaurant 
  • Must have wide knowledge of spirits, wines, and beer 
  • Safe/Food Handlers Certification required 
  • High school or equivalent education required
