Opening its doors in 1999, Paliskate is a unique local boutique that is bringing the shopping experience back to brick and mortar. Offering on trend styles including cutting edge women’s, men’s streetwear and skate.

We are currently hiring Retail Manager, Assistant Manager, Skate Shop Attendant, and Stylists.

We are looking for candidates that are customer service oriented, flexible, motivated and team oriented. Candidates should have prior experience in retail, preferably in a high end environment.

A strong ability to build relationships through targeted communication of personalized recommendations of new product and in-store experiences that will increase shopper engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to sell and lead by example. Consistently achieve and exceed store sales goals.
  • Ensure ALL customer service procedures are adhered to in order to create a Luxury experience. (Provide an exceptional customer service experience by exceeding their expectations, demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the products.)
  • Meeting daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Managing in-store inventory of product and supplies.
  • You are a respected and proven thought leader with a quantifiable track record of success in delivering results within a team oriented setting.
  • Work as a team player and partner with fellow colleagues, foster open and constructive communication, to ensure a consistent exceptional experience and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Maintain security standards within the store to ensure safety of customers, colleagues and merchandise.
  • Contribute to the daily operations of the store.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an active, accurate, neat and organized Communication Book and procedure logs.
  • Contacting clients regularly and providing appropriate follow-up on all sales or client requests.
  • Recruit and build a cohesive team dedicated to the success of the store and company.
  • Daily coaching of staff to achieve individual sales goals, enhancing and developing their business.
  • Outreach and Events- taking initiative to know your market and creating incremental opportunities.

Key Requirements

3-5 years of sales or management experience with similar scope.

  • Experience as a stylist a plus!
  • A natural problem-solver, who is also intuitively analytical and creative.
  • Ability to sell and lead by example. Consistently achieve and exceed store sales goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Has reliable mode of transportation.
  • Are facile with technology and apps and familiar with industry-related blogs and feeds.
