Job Summary:

The SERVER ASSISTANT supports the efficient operation of the restaurant and contributes to providing every guest with an exceptional dining experience. This crucial role is tasked with ensuring that side stations are stocked, tables are properly maintained, and that service to guest is prompt and unobtrusive. 

Essential Functions: Must be willing and able to: 

Provide friendly, personal, professional service to all Guest

Understand “The 7 Intents Service Model”, and apply the principles to all Guest interactions

Ensure that the dining room, lobby and service areas are clean, stocked and appealing 

Maintain thorough familiarity with all standards of proper service etiquette

Provide water service

Assist servers with general service; supporting the removal of completed courses from the table

Proactively approach and acknowledge all Guests in a friendly, warm and welcoming manner

Clear and reset dirty tables 

Work with other server assistants to ensure optimum efficiency

Demonstrate superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

Perform any other duties as assigned by the management team

Accountabilities: Must be willing and able to:

Be an active team player

Follow supervisor’s instructions

Perform under more than average stressful conditions

Maintain clean and orderly work area throughout shift and leave it ready for the following shift

Acquire and wear appropriate uniform as prescribed in the training manual

Maintain a clean uniform

Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant

Read and be accountable for the information in the Echo and Rig employee handbook

Qualifications Standards:

1 Year of customer service / food and beverage experience in a fast paced setting 

Must be willing and able to:

Learn and effectively practice The 7 Intents Service Model 

Collaborate and contribute to a diverse service team.

Communicate effectively 

Handle multiple priorities and tasks while under pressure. 

Job Qualifications 

· Strong work ethic and dedication to getting the job done right every time.

· A motivated self-starter capable of taking the initiative to identify and undertake projects during slow periods.

· The ability to collaborate and contribute to a diverse service team. 

· Superior Communication Skills
