GENERAL MANAGER

Prime Pizza opened in 2014 with a very simple goal: to be the best New York-style pizza in LA. The dough is made in house every day, the cheese is grated by hand and the tomato sauce has three ingredients: tomatoes, oregano, and salt.

We're looking for a General Manager that can lead this location and take ownership of the restaurant and run it as if it were your own.

BIG PICTURE

Ability to build and maintain a culture in the restaurant that encourages people to work hard, have fun, respect each other and take pride in being part of the team

Manages with the integrity, honesty, and respect that promote the mission and values of Prime Pizza

Supports the staff and make their jobs as enjoyable as possible

Works with kitchen staff to ensure a standardized approach to pizza making that gets consistent results

Builds important connections with the customers and exemplify the customer first attitude

DAILY

Oversees all hiring and employee relations matters

Oversee daily staffing issues: breaks, tardiness, shift coverage, etc.

Create training protocol and guides for all positions

Maintain the restaurant and all equipment in good working order

Utilizes operational tools to plan and achieve excellence in their store; labor scheduling, monthly status reports, cash, and inventory management

Quality control all food and make sure that all pizza, sandwiches, and sides are coming out correctly

Manages FOH and BOH prep lists and to ensure sure everyone is prioritizing their lists

Handle all customer service-related issues that come up

Purchase any all supplies that are needed for the restaurant’s operations

Oversee the daily cash accounting

WEEKLY

Oversee weekly ordering from all vendors

Make weekly cash deposits at the bank

Weekly meetings with upper management

Prepare timecards for the biweekly payroll

Manage weekly staff cleaning schedule

MONTHLY

Complete inventory on the last day of the period and submit to accounting

Submit all cash accounting sheets to accounting

Go over P&L reports with upper management

LONG TERM & ONGOING

Set up and execute a comprehensive review system for all employees

Identify and solve operational weaknesses

Spearhead projects that you are passionate about and add value to the restaurant/staff

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of Restaurant Management with direct responsibility for P&L

Experience in training, developing, and leading teams

Ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory experience preferred

Strong communication and team player skills

High level of accountability

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$50-70K annual salary plus performance bonuses, health & dental, two weeks paid time off, and discounts at sister restaurants
