POSITON: Assistant General Manager
LOCATION: West Hollywood, California

§ A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a restaurant or market General Manager.
§ A minimum of 4 years foodservice experience, preferably in high-volume operations.
§ Background working with ice cream is preferred.
§ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
§ High level organizational skills.
§ Ability to read and write English at an advanced level, Spanish language aptitude a plus.
§ Basic understanding and use of all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator a plus.
§ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management or Hospitality a plus.
§ Significant additional operational experience within the hospitality industry a plus.
§ A track record of professional success, career growth and people development.
§ Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and be proficient in problem analysis and solving.
§ A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and ability to positively influence the workplace with an upbeat and inspirational attitude is a must.
§ Ability to make judgements to ensure proper payroll and production control.
§ Ability to consistently follow the proper recipes and procedures.
§ A willingness to adhere to Four Winters high standards regarding food preparation, cleaning, teamwork and customer service.
§ Directly responsible for overseeing all operations, under the direct guidance of the General Manager, within the shop including products, dine-in and take-out.
§ Involvement with all day-to-day functions, including staff management, guest interactions, office administration duties, vendor communications, and labor costs related to the market.
§ Counsel, and supervise team members.
§ Interact with employees, customer, vendors and higher management with a positive, eager attitude – always being of service to anyone around you.
§ Teach and uphold company policies, procedures and practices by conveying proper leadership skills.
§ Maintaining one’s own personal retention of all operational responsibilities to effectively lead by example and have a complete understanding of the Four Winter’s restaurant processes.
§ Continuously collaborate with the Director of Operations for the United States and the General Manager to improve internal and external service and hospitality.
§ Assist in planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of businesses to ensure smooth progress and elevated guest experiences.
§ Assist the GM with ordering, inventory and reconciling invoices for all products.
§ Focus on hitting sales goals, managing labor and controlling inventory using the tools provided.
§ Ensure that the guest experience meet brand standards at all times.
§ Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
§ Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
§ Oversee and maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, all the while abiding by state sanitation/health directives and company policy.
§ Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of any new employees following the lead of the General Manager.
§ Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the restaurant.
· Salary range 46,000-48,000 annually
