This leadership position is primarily responsible for administrative duties related to operations for a hospitality company. The role requires operational understanding of restaurants with strong administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist administratively with tasks related to human resources and accounting processes including hiring, EDD and workers comp compliance, and payroll. Responsible for daily reports and cash-outs, invoices, purchase journals.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Performing with the following functions in conjunction with ownership:

·        Recruitment

·        Hiring

·        Onboarding

·        Scheduling

·        Training

·        Liaise with Accounting

·        Supervise staff

·        Maintain administrative tasks related to operations

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Labor Tracking – Time Edits.  Proper Documentation on behalf of Employee and Management
  • Maintain Menus – Updates to hard copy, online & POS
  • Manage customer feedback and reviews through all channels  
  • Coordinate the maintenance of restaurant website content updates   
  • Provide social media content for social media posts

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have an exceptional attitude, and excellent verbal & written communication along with leadership skills. They must also be professional, friendly, and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced environment, as well as:

·        Maintain a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks

·        Superior organizational and follow up skills with attention to detail

·        Skilled at quickly and accurately inputting information

·        Ability to coordinate with CPAs and vendors

·        Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision-making skills

·        Ability to understand basic financial reports including P-Mix, Comps/Voids, Cash, Labor, & Sales trends

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality/restaurant industry is highly preferred

• Fast Casual experience a plus

• Highly organized with excellent follow up skills and extreme attention to detail

• Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities

• Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond, taking initiative often

• Exceptional communication skills and articulation

• Possess a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks

• Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced, high pressure environment

• Strong computer skills including emailing and internet

• Proficiency in Excel as well as other Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
