Seeking maintenance person  IN ARIZONA with 3-5 years’ experience.


* Ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action.

*Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner in accordance with the company established guidelines.

*Report all unit deficiencies and or risk management safety issues.

Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement or installation of new plumbing fixtures, valves, sewers, faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, and dishwashers, and repair of any water leaks. Welds and repairs metals or related materials.

Electrical: includes the repair, replacement or installation of power switches, fuses, circuit breakers, outlets, light switches, ballasts, smoke detectors, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems, and garage doors openers.

Appliance repair: includes the repair, replacement or installation of major household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, range ovens, washers and dryers, hot water tanks, and air conditioners.

General: Perform required maintenance in vacant units in accordance with the company established guidelines to prepare units for new residents.

*Makes repairs to roofs, flashing, gutters as needed to seal up leaks or cracks.

*Repairs HVAC systems such as fans, exhausts, duct work, etc.

*Repairs and/or replaces ceramic tiles, baseboards, and ceiling tiles.

*Makes light repairs to cracked concrete walkways, columns, walls, etc.

*Performs carpentry work such as repairing counters, window frames, door frames, etc.

*Performs repair work to ceilings, windows, doors, and door hardware.

*May make repairs and monitor safety equipment such as the fire “Exit” signs and general repair of emergency doors.

*Performs periodic checks of fire & smoke alarms.

*Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as requested or needed

Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with residents and office personnel when scheduling and providing maintenance.

Special Working Conditions: This position may be required to work in confined spaces and/or to work outdoors and be exposed to inclement weather conditions. This position may be required to come into work on holidays and in emergency situations (i.e., may be subject to “on-call” responsibilities).
