Bacari Restaurants, owners of Bacari W. Adams, Nature's Brew, Bacari PDR, Bacari GDL, and Bacari W. 3rd, is currently seeking experienced and qualified candidates to fill a full-time Sous Chef position at Bacari GDL, our location at the Americana in Glendale. Our chef-driven, creative cicchetti-style menu is influenced by Mediterranean cuisines, and our service is fast-paced and fun.
A qualified candidate has youthful energy and at least two years minimum of kitchen and cooking experience. Being fluent in both English and Spanish is a big plus as well.
You should have an impeccable attention to detail, a passion for food and hospitality, a strong grasp on inventory and cost control, and a knack for leading your fellow kitchen team members.
Bacari is also growing quickly, so you must be willing and able to move and lead kitchens at new locations as we open them around the greater Los Angeles area in the near future. There is always opportunity to grow within the company.
This position pays a guaranteed $46,000 annually (base salary), in addition to a lucrative bonus structure and an opportunity to earn benefits within the first year. We are looking for long term, career driven candidates that are looking to grow with us as the company expands.
