The LEAD HOST/HOSTESS is a high visibility position that plays a vital role in ensuring that Guest feel welcome, respected. appreciated, and cared for during their time at our restaurant. Our lead host/hostesses must emotionally connect with Guests, collect information to provide the best possible seating for each party and to ensure equal distrubition amongst service staff, in addition to effectively communicating with our service team and management.
Essential Functions: Must be willing and able to:
Exude confidence, professionalism, and a genuine sense of hospitality and warmth
Provide friendly, personal, professional service to all Guest.
Understand “The 7- Intents Service Model”, and apply the principles to all Guest interactions.
Provide a pleasant atmosphere, offer an appropriate greeting/farewell for all Guests entering and leaving the restaurant.
Welcome and check in guests into our reservation program, assign guest to tables following proper protocols set by Echo & Rig.
Organize large parties and speciality request parties prior to service with the assistance from the management team.
Take reservations, maintain the reservation database and appropriately book reservations.
Refer Guest concerns or complaints to management.
Assist Floor Managers with table management.
Provide constructive input to foster process improvement
Stay informed on all information about Echo and Rig, including but not limited to address of establishment hours of operations, special events, special holiday hours, hours of brunch, happy hour, etc., phone number for all locations.
Proactively obtain information from Guests, management and service staff and acts as a central hub of information for entire restaurant.
Engage Guest during the check in process and effectively hand over information to service team.

Maintain clean and orderly work area throughout shift and leave it ready for the following shift
Acquire and wear appropriate standard of dress as depicted in the uniform manual
Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
Read and be accountable for the information in the Echo and Rig employee handbook
Previous customer service experience desirable
Must be willing and able to:
Think critically, provide solutions for guests
Collaborate and contribute to a diverse service team.
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication
Handle multiple priorities and tasks while under pressure.
Efficient use an IPad and Computer
Superior poise and communication abilities
