The server assistant is responsible to ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guests. When guests
depart, bussers remove dirty dishes, sanitize the table, clean the seats and if necessary, sweep or vacuum the
surrounding floor.

 Promptly greet guests as they are seated.
 Serves as an assistant to servers
 Responds appropriately to guest requests, communicate guest requests to server as needed
 Clears away dirty dishes, sanitize/set tables, clean seats/tables and if necessary, sweep or vacuum the
surrounding floor in a professional and effective manner.
 Help servers bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs
 Grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeter
 Serve guests, bread, water and butter, and provide refills as needed.
 Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
 Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
 Stock all service areas and maintaining adequate supplies during meal period.
 Ensure that each and every guest is treated in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
 Thank guests as they are leaving.
 Maintain personal health and sanitation standards based on health regulations.

 Minimum 2 years experience as server in a fine dining establishment
 4 or 5 star dining background, knowledge and ability to implement such service standards
 High School diploma
 Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
 Must be able to speak, read and understand English
 Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
 Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, kitchen staff, and team members)
 Ability to work in a team environment
 Ability to accept constructive criticism and work calmly and effectively under pressure
 Guest service oriented and possesses commitment to quality service
 Have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, multi-tasker and organized
 Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
