The Motorino team is seeking a chef de cuisine/kitchen manager to oversee four kitchen operations in NYC, working with each location's respective head chef to maintain consistency and quality throughout the company.
The chef de cuisine will oversee the chefs in all aspects of the kitchen management, including organization and cleanliness, inventory and ordering, scheduling and payroll, as well as upholding NYCDOH standards. The chef de cuisine will be developing and implementing seasonal specials and menu changes.
The chef de cuisine must have experience in established companies, with a minimum of three years' line cook experience. Chef de cuisine experience a plus, though not required. This individual must be well organized and capable of organizing the work of others. DOH certificate required.
We are a chef-owned organization with ten years and four locations in the city. The chef de cuisine will be working directly under the chef/owner, and in partnership with a restaurant director and FOH managers. We offer a respectful, well balanced, and supportive workplace.
