As a Talent Acquisition Manager for Mendocino Farms, you will be on the forefront of building and sustaining our culture, by sourcing and selecting industry leading talent.  You will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, and partner with our Operations leaders.


  • Full cycle recruiting for Restaurant Managers
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition on employment branding initiatives
  • Work with our Operations leaders to understand the current talent pipeline, and proactively recruit candidates to satisfy business needs
  • Develop passive candidates through networking, cold calling, internet searches, name generation, data mining, industry and community events and utilizing social media
  • Offer negotiations
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Assisting in maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coach Managers on recruitment practices that strengthen our recruiting culture and improve the candidate experience
  • Assist with special projects on an as-need basis
  • Keep abreast of industry development and best practices
  • Handle confidential information with complete discretion


  • 3-5 years’ experience in a high-volume, full cycle Talent Acquisition role.  Hospitality industry preferred
  • Extensive MS Outlook and Gmail experience (email and calendar)
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Possess a strong level of discretion and integrity to manage confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing emails, and verbal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through
  • Ability to balance work independently with minimal supervision and be able to respond effectively to competing priorities
  • The ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment
