Responsible for set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. Takes drink orders from patrons or wait staff and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance to
standards and procedures. Creates cocktails according to standard recipes. Manages POS”. Wash and sterilize glassware for drinks. Prepare and serve garnishes.
Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
Slice and prepare garnishes.
Receive and prepare drink orders from patrons and wait staff.
Accurately record drinks poured and manage chits.
Ensure customers are served according to operating standards.
Adheres to basic hygiene procedures and grooming standards.
Demonstrates culture standards.
Understand mixology and create promotional drinks.
Checks customer I.D.s for age verification.
Ensures that no guest is over served.
Follows all health and safety regulations.
Controls and limits waste and breakage.
Maintains bar and storage area cleanliness.
Follow all rotation procedures and labeling to ensure freshness and quality.
Assist with all bar back duties as required.
Position duties may include any other tasks as deemed necessary by managers in order to fulfill the obligations of the House.

Some wine knowledge.
Strong oral communication skills, Spanish and English preferred.

Two years previous banquet bartending and high volume experience.
Strong interpersonal skills (people skills).
Calm and collected under pressure.
Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.
Physical fitness, this position requires bending and standing (long period of time in hot and cold conditions) walking, and lifting (40 lbs).
This position is an hourly paid, on-call employee. Working a scheduled week according to
demand, including weekends and holidays.
