To perform any combination of the following calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Compiles, sorts, files and maintains all invoices, including matching to checks once paid and file in account payable files.
Handles all incoming and outgoing monies including daily deposits, change orders, ATM cash replenishing and MOA deposits. This includes verification on funds via Wells Fargo web site. This includes counting main safe and MOD safe daily, reporting any variances immediately to management.
Reconciles the credit card payment through First Merchant/American Express to System 21 EDC transmissions totals, bringing any variances to the immediate attention of management.
Maintains all inventory spreadsheets including food, beverage, and gift shop, updating pricing according to most current invoices received. Provide these inventories to managers upon request.
Completes all miscellaneous filing and maintain files in clean working order.
Assists Controller with special research/projects as requested.
Assists Human Resources with daily time edits and payroll processing as requested and during scheduled vacations.
Handles customer telephone inquires from guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Log and distribute to appropriate department heads incoming employment applications.
Process new hire background reference and criminal background checks.
Cross trains and performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
Skills and Abilities:
- Compute and record numbers correctly.
- Follow procedures for keeping records.
- Use eyes, hands, and fingers at the same time to enter figures in books and forms, or to operate a calculator or personal computer.
- Perform work that is routine and detailed.
- Copy large quantities of numbers without error.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
