Restaurant Manager Position
This position opening is rare for this location. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate.
We are seeking a manager to oversee FOH and BOH and maintain our standards in both areas.
Even though this is a manager position, the candidate will serving on the floor as well.
Duties include, but not limited to:
-working at least 60 hours a week (holidays and weekend)
-able to drive to Santa Monica to corporate office and other restaurant location in Hremosa Beach as needed
-able to stand for 8 hours
-able to lift, able to lead a team and keep a positive attitude at all times
-have a current CA foodhandlers card or willing to obtain one
-able to hire and fire staff
-understanding of health code standards and recipe execution
- ability to turn in payroll and meet weekly sales goals
- able to maintain communication with staff (86'd items, repairs, maintenance)
- Oversee and organize timely maintenance and repairs of all equipment in FOH and BOH including, but not limited to, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, hoods, sinks, toilets, floors, walls, etc.
- Ensure that BOH are trained and utilizing all criteria for a safe food environment, executing standardized recipe and plating practices.
- review all food bills and cross check weekly to ensure vendors are consistant with pricing
