The JDK Group is seeking a creative, friendly, people-passionate individual to assist as an HR and Talent & Engagement Intern for all of its hiring, training, and employee retention needs.
Internship Summary: Assist the Talent & Engagement Coach in recruiting processes, hiring policies & procedures, training programs, and staff retention needs
We require a minimum of 24 hours a week to participate in the internship program. Internships can be done for college credit if coordinated as such by the student/advisor.
Assist in developing recruiting goals and strategies
Collaborate with the Talent Engagement Coach to coordinate and identify staffing requirements with the Scheduling & Logistic Manager
Assist in creating new and innovative training programs
Help coordinate local job fairs and university/college recruitments
Assist the Talent & Engagement Coach with day-to-day operations
Work with the Talent & Engagement Coach in fostering a work environment that enhances The JDK Group’s company culture
Assist in organizing culture, meetings, performance-based incentives and engagement programs
Help plan internal company-wide events
Desired Skills & Experience
Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented and organized
Able to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
Need to be team oriented
Typical candidate would be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or Communications
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
