The JDK Group is seeking a creative, friendly, people-passionate individual to assist as a Human Resource and Staff Scheduling Intern for all of its hiring, training, and employee retention needs.
Internship Summary: Assist the Human Resource Director in recruiting processes, hiring policies & procedures, training programs, and staff retention needs, orientations, new hire paperwork. Assist the Scheduling coordinator in scheduling new hires into events, budgets, labor reports, and entering events into our systems.
We require a minimum of 24 hours a week to participate in the internship program. Internships can be done for college credit if coordinated as such by the student/advisor.
Assist in developing recruiting goals and strategies
- Screen applicants and creating a shortlist
- Assisting in conducting interviews
Collaborate with the Human Resource Director to coordinate and identify staffing requirements with the Scheduling coordinator
Schedule staff for orientations, training programs, and their events
Assist the Human Resource Director with day-to-day operations
- Assist the Scheduling Coordinator with day-to-day operations
Assist in organizing culture, meetings, performance-based incentives and engagement programs
Help plan internal company-wide events
- Communication with current staff

Able to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
Need to be team-oriented
A typical candidate would be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or Communications
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
