Onboarding & Training Coordinator

  • Overview: The Onboarding & Training Coordinator is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: training, onboarding, recruitment/employment, compliance, and training sessions.

Job Description:

  • Conducts new hire orientations; Completes, compiles, maintains, and files all necessary new hire paperwork.
  • Schedules candidates appointments related to hiring process.
  • Reviews forms for completeness.
  • Maintains updated work cards for compliance.
  • Sends and tracks background checks.
  • Enter all New Hires into HRIS system.
  • Organizes and conducts training sessions such as HR 101, Sexual Harassment Training, and Departmental Training.


  • 1-2 years of previous HR experience
  • I-9 knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly and confidently present and engage with large groups
  • Hospitality industry a plus
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Compensation based on experience
