Essential Responsibilities :
*Oversees the daily operations from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards.
*Oversees the flow of the business during business hours. Being active in all areas of the restaurant (front desk, bar/lounge, kitchen, and main dining room) for the whole dining period. Responsible for financial operations of restaurant.
*Approves all schedules
*Participates in creativity of developing incentive programs, generating sales and marketing services.
*Ensures that all food products meet company recipe specifications for preparation and quality.
*Coaching of staff members.
*Approve payroll, OT, and any exceptions
*Forecasts sales and labor budget (annual, weekly, daily)
*Coordinate with other managers to update, sales, policies, and standards
*Table touch guest tables each shift to build relationships, ensure return visits and troubleshoot anything that arises.
*Lead pre-shift for FOH crew and oversee BOH pre-shifts.
*Oversee the training /cross training of the staff
*Complete New Hire paperwork for all staff members.
*Lead progressive discipline of staff members and managers
*Communicate with Corporate office and owners on staff related issues
*Interview and selects new staff members; is the final decision on all hires
*Conducts annual performance reviews on all FOH and BOH managers.
*Sets goals and follows up with managers on results, measurements, and course corrects when needed.
*Lead weekly manager meetings and staff bi-annual meetings.
*Formulate new restaurant policies and operation policies to continuously enhance guest experience.

Must be able to work on several web based applications adopted by our company to streamline communication and efficiency of the restaurant.
Work Environment • The General Manager must be able to maneuver through all areas of the restaurant, including food and beverage areas. Requires mobility, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to tolerate varying stress levels, temperature, illumination, air quality and fatigue. Heavy customer contact is required.
