The GROUP DINING & EVENTS COORDINATOR will directly assist our Director of Guest Relations in the planning, coordination, and execution of guest and community events.
He or she will work directly with our guest and under the direction of our Director of Guest Relations to plan events, coordinate resources, and communicate pertinent information to our internal stakeholders.
The Catering Coordinator will create field inquiry phone calls, and emails, input information into our catering software, generate and update Banquet Event Orders and contracts, and handle other duties as assigned by the Director of Guest Relations or the Restaurant management team.
Due to the dynamic nature of the position, the GROUP DINING & EVENTS COORDINATOR will have to interact with a diverse group of stakeholder, including our Private Dining Clients (Business & Social), our culinary leadership team, and our FOH Operations Team.

Essential Functions: Must be willing and able to:
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Private Events/Group Dining offerings, standards, procedures and service, and provide accurate information to guest.• Offer prompt follow up to all internal and externalstakeholders• Act as first point of contact for general leads, Inputdetailed and thorough event inquiries into catering software, carefully noting client contact information, desired time, desired date, guest count, ect.• Communicate with clients to obtain a detailed understanding needs and desires• Effectively articulate the client’s needs and desires to Culinary and FOH leadership • Creates BEOs for distribution, including the creation of function sheets with itemized list of rental & equipment needs, kitchen sheets for culinary team, and detailed BEOs for Front of the House leadership team. • Martian and Update BEO board • Organize, update, maintain and distribute all group dining collateral and marketing material • Ensure all event information is input into Tripleseat is up to date and fully detailed prior to event/deadlines.• Print & Distribute BEOSs and REVISED BEOs, proactively communicating changes. • Creates Signage and Printed Menus for events• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Private Events/Catering Department policies, standard operating procedures and service standards, and provide accurate information to members about services• Coordinates Group Dining and event bookings with our restaurant reservation teams, ensuring all eventsare entered into Opentable, and updated as changes occur.• Assist with client walkthroughs, and provide onsite sales representation as necessary• Audit Final event charges and confirm the accuracy of billing / payment collection• Compile notes and reports following events and gather feedback from stakeholders• Other general administrative tasks as assigned by Director of Guest Relations / Restaurant GM

1+ Year previous Restaurant, Hospitality, or Catering Experience
Excellent grasp of writing, spelling, and grammar
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge (email, internet, word, excel, ect)
Knowledge of Opentable, or Tripleseat Desireable
