A Felix Los Angeles Floor Manager is the representative of our restaurant and of our core values.  They ensure our guests are having an exceptional experience. They also ensure that our team members are loving their job, through coaching and developing their skills all while having fun. They are excited to flex their entrepreneurial muscle and play a part in achieving success in our business. The right person for this role will be able to both look at the big picture but, also pay close attention to detail. They should have excellent communication skills and excel at giving effective feedback.  Must have 3 years of management experience at a similar style dining restaurant.  

Reports to
General Manager, AGM

The Scope of the Role and Responsibilities are as follows:

o Curate Guest Experiences

o Follow and enforce systems to ensure consistency in product and service

o Touch tables and build rapport with Guests and perform quality investigations

o Perform Guest recoveries when necessary 

o Create a Supportive, Safe and Growth Oriented Work Environment

o Foster an environment of happy people making people happy

o Help Conduct Pre-Shift meetings 

o Audit Staff performances and give in the moment feedback

o Work Safely in accordance with Health & Safety Act

o Hold regular training meetings to consistently develop knowledge and skills of team members

o Manage Daily Operations

o Perform Comps, Voids and other POS functions 

o Employee Scheduling

o Ensure restaurant is staffed to maintain optimal profit margins 

o Check Inventory, order FOH Supplies 

o Inspect and sign for incoming orders

o Open/Close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists

o Follow and Enforce Company Policies and Procedures

o Cash handling & reconciliation – balance tills, provide due-backs

o Continually Develop Management Skills

o Ongoing development of product knowledge

o Use strategic thinking when collaborating with Senior Management on new systems and processes

o Keeping up to date with industry trends


Skills / Experience

· Minimum 3 Year Supervisor/Management Experience

· Intermediate to Advanced wine and beverage knowledge; Italian is preferred

· High level of service standard expectations

· Strong Leadership and Communication Skills

· S.T.A.R. certification

· Passionate, Positive and Approachable
