Shift managers at Wurstküche open and close the store and execute day-today operations. They enforce company policies on scheduled shifts and inspire BOH and FOH teams to maximize efficiency and excellence! 60% of time is spent on the floor, 30% training and mentoring and 10% of time is spent completing administrative tasks.
Beyond the day to day, Wurstküche managers are very hands on with their team and assist in every area that is needed. We routinely host education classes: bar class, beer class, leadership class for our hourly team and are very involved with our surrounding community!
Management positions begin with basic training as Food Runners, Beer Servers, Cashiers, Bartenders and Line Cook training. It requires at least 8 weeks of FOH and BOH study while also training on day to day shift manager procedures and operations. We want you to acclimate to your job well and believe that training alongside our best and brightest is the first step to success!
The perfect candidate for us would have experience in a bar/restaurant as a server or bartender, have studied Business Management in college/univeristy and have a passion for the industry and interest/light experience in becoming a leader. They would not mind late hours, have flexibility with their schedule, have strong communication, organization and administrative skills along with a very high sense of integrity and responsibility.
