Coyote Hills Golf Course is looking for a Banquet Captain to provide excellent service and to assist with our privates events including weddings, birthdays, meetings and golf tournaments. Job duties include setting up of events, serving guests and clean up afterward. Under the general direction of Director of Food & Beverage, provide team leadership for all aspects of served events. Oversee the successful execution of assigned banquets. Supervise, train, motivate, direct, and evaluate banquet employees. Assist in organizing banquet team in a efficient and cost-effective manner. Maintain a high level of customer service for all events. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines. Follow established timelines for BEO's and special events. Interact with team members and guest in a professional manner. Assist with product inventory as needed. In addition, the Banquet Captain will support the bar manager in the service of alcoholic beverages. Candidates with recent hospitality experience in fast food, restaurant, hotel or country club preferred.
This position is part time with varying shifts. 20 to 30 hours per week, depending upon business needs and your availability.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to multi-task. Must be able to work in a team and independently.
The following requirements must be met by all candidates:
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have valid drivers license.
Must be available Fridays through Sundays. Additional availability is desirable.
Must have reliable transportation for late evening or early morning shifts.
Must be able to complete California Food Handlers card within 30 days of employment.
Working hours vary and include nights, weekends and overtime.
