TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Mendocino Farms, you will support Talent Acquisition initiatives for Team Members, Managers, and Corporate hires.   You will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, and partner with regional recruiters to ensure a candidate’s smooth transition to new hire.  This position may also execute full cycle talent acquisition process for internal and entry level positions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling phone, video-conference and in-person interviews; working directly with candidates and hiring managers, and arranging candidate travel as required
  • Leveraging recruiting and HR systems to update candidate records, post jobs, pull reports, confirm new hires, and more
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Manage the onboarding process for all Base Camp and Operations management new hires
  • Provide follow-up to candidates, including status updates via phone and email
  • Track and report on recruiting activities and candidate status
  • Coordinating and scheduling post-interview debrief meetings
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
  • Partner with General Managers to develop a proactive team member hiring strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in talent acquisition or related support role
  • Extensive MS Outlook and Gmail experience (email and calendar)
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Possess a strong level of discretion and integrity to manage confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing emails, and verbal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through
  • Ability to balance work independently with minimal supervision and be able to respond effectively to competing priorities
  • The ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment
