TheSous Chef is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the restaurant. In addition to accomplishing daily food prep, and cooking tasks, they will assist with many front of house tasks, ensuring that our customer service is exceptional
They will train, teach, correct and assist the front of house and kitchen team, ensuring that our customers receive a safe, delicious and timely meal.
While they will always have several culinary tasks to complete on their own, they will also be responsible for ensuring that our restaurant is clean, our equipment is working properly, and our staff is following our established recipes, cooking procedures, sanitation and service standards.
Training and development is a major part of the Kitchen Managers job, so they are expected to be constantly communicating in a clear, positive and effective manner.
This person will also be responsible for conducting daily inventory, ordering food & beverage, and pitching in to help wherever they may be needed.
Ideal candidates should have:
- 4+ years experience working in a restaurant or similar industry
- Ability to work fast
- Ability and desire to make others around you better
