The Briarpatch Restaurant in Winter Park is seeking an experienced lead line cook. Candidates for this position must have some experience working in a high level-high volume environment. Ideal candidates need to know how to work clean, have great stamina, attitude and adaptability. Finesse, composure and the ability to plate beautiful food while under pressure are vital skills for this position.
This is an ideal position for cooks that are looking to grow their abilities in a short period of time while working with some of the best raw product in the Central Florida area. This is a position that puts cooks to the ultimate test and helps drive their sense of urgency and skills as far as they can go.

Egg Preparation-Omeletess, scrambles, over, sunny side, and poached
Meat and Fish preparation-Skirt Steak, short rib, pork belly, house ground hamburgers, Grouper
Station stocking, prep work, and cleaning
Leadership abilities and Manager Servsafe certified are also factors that will influence compensation.
