STORE SUPERVISOR
The Store Supervisor is responsible for front of the house oversight including but not limited to
implementing and maintaining the highest levels of guest service, store maintenance and
cleanliness, as well as daily reports, banking and financial paperwork. The Store Supervisor is
responsible for on-site training of FOH employees and maintaining reasonable labor costs
through proper staffing. The store manager must be able to stand for extended periods of time;
reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. They must be attentive, hard working,
possess strong people management skills and be able to communicate clearly. Reports to GM.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Ensure that all customers are served promptly and efficiently
● Promptly and professionally respond to any guest concerns or complaints
● Keeps adequate staffing levels and recruits as necessary
● Collects applicants, makes recommendations and schedules interviews for new hires
● Training, development and supervision of all front of the house employees maintaining
performance standards through oversight, coaching and counseling
● Communicates POS discrepancies and changes necessary to corporate level
● Communicates with GM about any continuing issues or ideas for improvement
● Conduct daily banking, reports, responds to financial reports and is responsible for cash flow and
all monetary oversight
● Monitor labor for proper break periods, accurate clock in and out and limiting overtime
● Gives staff critical feedback through discipline and documentation including verbal warnings,
write ups, daily feedback and annual reviews with the GM
● Enforces behavioral standards in accordance with the company’s policy of zero tolerance for
harassment and discrimination
● Adheres to and enforces required California Food Handler standards of personal hygiene
● Attends all employee meetings; responds to management timely and professionally
● Maintains staff morale and addresses as necessary; Fills in when absences occur
● Is space contact for problems or emergencies
● Creates schedule for GM approval
● Maintains FOH equipment and addresses when there are problems
● Places order for GCM with vendors & commissary kitchen
● Ensures procedures are met through role model-ship and acknowledgement
● Maintains staff morale and addresses or boost if necessary
● Plays a role in new company directives and implements changes with staff on site
● Keeps and enforces high sanitation and cleanliness standards
● Coordinates invoice delivery to Costing/Recipe Manager
● Is responsible for oversight and success of location, especially when GM is not present
● Communicates with GM about any issues that arise or support that is needed
