We are seeking a motivated hospitality professional looking to join our growing team. Harley Laguna Beach is the first of many concepts we are planning to open, and our hope is that the right candidate will be up for growth within our company.
We need a self-starter with wine knowledge; certified sommelier preferred, but the right knowledge can outweigh this. Management experience preferred, but the right person can make this irrelevant. We would hope that you have had experience in an establishment that promotes quality over quantity, and perfecting the craft, rather than just going through the motions.
We are a hyper-seasonal restaurant driven by local, responsible farms and ranches. We serve delicious, creative food in a beautiful environment, and provide an incredible wine list to match.
Our service approach is warm and professional, while being appropriately casual when necessary.
This position would be hourly for 30-40 hours per week, and requires the ability to manage and hold team members accountable to the level of knowledge and service we expect. You must portray yourself with positive energy and genuine kindness. A smile is a non-negotiable requirement. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, and move boxes of wine, beer, and spirits when necessary. Responsibilities would include supervising the floor part-time, and closing the restaurant 2-3 nights per week.
We are looking for an individual who treats Harley like they own it, willing to adapt and change when necessary, lend a hand with any task, always with their eyes on providing the best experience for our guests.
