The Howlin' crew might be one of the most notorious kitchen crews in LA. Known for smashing every.single.day while providing some the best service around these parts. Hospitiality is the name of the game here & we take it very seriously. Attitude and work ethic are more important to us thans years of experience, although for the Sous Chef position we ask that you have at least 3 years experience in a kitchen leadership role. If you have less than that, feel free to send over your info and we will consider you for anothter position. We do most of our promotion from within, so it's definitely possible to grow into a leadership role over time.
Here are some of the qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of lead kitchen experience in a moderate to high volume restaurant
- Strong communication skills
- Word ethic, healthy lifestyle practices & endurance are KEY
- Strong leadership/motivational skills
- Ability to handle order/recieve/stocking responsibilites daily
- Ability to create and maintain weekly schedules
- Able to work ten hour-plus shifts plus ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs as needed
- Must be friendly & hospitable (genuinely) and able to maintain high levels of service standards
- Must be calm and able to maintain order under pressure
