Paligroup is currently seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager for Palihotel Seattle.


Experienced sales professional whose preferred style is hands-on and involved with the key management team members. 

A person who enjoys a fast paced work environment. Someone who enjoys staying organized in the midst of being busy. A proactive person who is able to blend an authentic, unique, and personalized service to create unforgettable guest experiences at Paligroup properties. 

Our ideal candidate must be a team player with exceptional organizational and customer service skills. You must love to work as part of a team while maintaining your individual goals.  This person will need to have a good sense of time management.  Strongest candidates will have a passion for proactive sales and a loyal client following in the Seattle market as well as an understanding of revenue management and a record of basic leadership.


Direct Sales: develop appointment-oriented sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established by departmental budget and marketing plan.    

New Account Development/Key Account Management: Steal market share to generate new business; continually target new business through telemarketing, individual creativity and innovation. Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer room night and revenue growth.   

Customer Service: Develop strong customer relations through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction. Develops customer profiles and maintains an effective trace system, including trace dates and references, in order to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.   

Communication: Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintain open communications with all co-workers for the best overall performance of the hotel.   

Reporting:   Prepare sales metrics reports documenting sales calls, outlining opportunities, and identifying new bookings in an accurate and timely fashion.  

Community & Travel: Actively participate in community and industry organizations and travel where needed for client appointments or trade shows to benefit the collection’s exposure to the community and bottom line.


  • Minimum three years sales experience
  • Prior hotel experience required, preferably at a lifestyle boutique hotel.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and understandably over the telephone. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organization and professionalism 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • OPERA experience a plus 


  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 25 lbs.
