Acclaimed downtown restaurant has an open position for cold side cook.
Looking for a self-motivated cook who is able to handle high volume and excel in a demanding work environment. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of two years high volume kitchen experience and must have verifiable references. Perform routine preparation and production duties following recipes, advanced knife skills and proper equipment operation/handling.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Previous experience in a high volume restaurant
- Able to sustain high energy activities for extended periods of time, handle stress and remain cool under pressure
- Can work “on their feet” for extended periods of time
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance required
- Related training and/or job experience that would enable applicant to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities to perform job
- Be able to take ownership of your work and willing to be held accountable for your actions
- $16-19/hour depending on experience.
