We are currently seeking an experienced Events Manager for small and large events. The Event Manager will have the responsibility of managing all events for the restaurant, garden and gallery courtyard space and any occasional offsite events that may arise. The Event Manager oversees all aspects of event planning and management, including internal and external events.

A successful candidate will be extremely organized and be able to manage the logistics of multiple events simultaneously. Responsibilities for the Event Manager include meeting with clients to work out event details, plan with the client, facilitate the proper location within the restaurant and gallery space for the specific event, sort staffing, obtain proper approvals and permitting, menu development with Chef, rental needs, generating quotes and BEO's, and budget management. The Event Manager also creates event proposals and present those proposals to prospective clients. The event manager is responsible for engaging in community outreach and seeking out potential clients whose events would be compatible with our ethos and brand.

Manuela opened in October 2016 inside the Hauser & Wirth gallery in DTLA. Manuela is named after and inspired by Partner and co-President Manuela Wirth. Manuela unites chef, farmer and artist to create an authentic and original dining experience. The menu celebrates seasonal ingredients sourced from the best farms and producers in Southern California, highlighting artisanal techniques. Manuela also features an exemplary bar program and local beers on tap. 

Designed by Los Angeles native Matt Winter, the restaurant is illuminated and animated by specially commissioned works from artists Paul McCarthy, Mark Bradford and Raymond Pettibon.
