Milo SRO is a quick service environment with a goal of making the guest feel like they are in a relaxed restaurant. While there are many different positions at Milo SRO, all of which are equal importance, when you are at work treat the whole restaurant as if it is your responsibility and never say “it is not my job”. The front of house interacts with the guests to ensure they have a great dining experience. Front of house is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, counter staff is expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Duties and responsibilities 

As front of house, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Welcomes and greets guests. 
Takes food and beverage orders.
Responsible for all cash transactions.
Responsible for sanitary standards for the coffee station, serving and eating areas.
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items...etc.
Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks.
Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change. 
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the Lead. 
Assisting with special events as needed. 
Understands and can communicate products and services available at the restaurant.
Prepare some food items (salads, etc)

Welcome to our little pizza parlor! The SRO is short for “standing room only.” As the more laid-back, little sister to Milo & Olive, our focus is delivery and take-out, but you can also pop in to grab a slice. We specialize in large, New York-style pies made with really great ingredients like organic flour and tomatoes, non-GMO mozzarella and locally-sourced meats. Chef Erin Eastland and Baker Zoe Nathan came up with our delicious housemade crusts and mini garlic knots.
