SUMMARY: Provides efficient assistance to the servers and the server process and ensures that the kitchen FOH area is clean and set up for service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Stocks all bread, butter and condiments.
Ensures that the chef has all necessary equipment needed.
Delivers ordered food to guests in a timely fashion.
Ensures that the food ordered by guests is served properly.
Ensures that all ordered food is announced to guests at their tables.
Informs a manager and or server if guests have any issues when food is delivered.
Must have the ability to retain and maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
Maintains communication between kitchen and managers.
Breaks down the kitchen station at the end of the shift.
Performs any and all opening and closing side duties.
Performs all duties in adherence to all company standards.
Must have the ability to provide friendly, courteous and professional service to all internal and external customers/guests, at all times.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
Must have the ability to report to work on time and on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
At least one-year previous experience in a high volume restaurant in a related position. Previous experience as a Runner preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moments notice.

Proper alcohol awareness certification where applicable.
