Baking Position available, 3-5 days: early mornings or afternoons. Must be available on weekends.
We are a small bakery with a lot of heart and although small, we have a mighty team. We ask for hard work and we are supportive of your goals and growth!
-Baking scones, biscuits, and assorted pastries. Custard preparation knowledge will be taken into consideration.
-Must be able to follow instructions precisely and bake according to our high standards.
-Should be able to work quickly and efficiently under a fast-paced environment.
-Should be able to stand or move around for long periods of time.
-Should be able to lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
-Must be willing to work as a team and assist other bakers as well as assist the Production Manager.
-Should be clean and organized within the work station and kitchen.
-Must be able to clean as you go when dishwasher not present.
-Effectively communicate with Production Manager and team of production needs and tasks completed.
-Opportunities for growth and more hours are available to the right candidate.
-At least 1 year baking experience in a COMMERCIAL setting. (This is negotiable, if you're able to convey your baking experience and specific baking knowledge and practices in detail in your cover letter, we will consider training)
-Physically be able to work 8-hour work days and lift 10-50 lbs.
-Attention to detail, organization skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Positive can-do attitude and a team player.
-Excellent basic math skills.
-Able to work independently using critical thinking.
