Senior .Net Developer
Primary Location: Washington, DC
As an Application Developer, you will work as part of the team dedicated to building state of the art, error free software applications. You lead initiatives in conceptualizing and developing of new software programs and applications in collaboration with developers, analysts, designers and program managers. You will champion critical analysis of test results and deliver software fixes to problem areas, and own and resolve problems with software products or company software systems. You will prepare and document program requirements, detailed technical design specifications and technical deployment documents. You will communicate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. You will write, translate and code software programs and applications according to detailed design specifications.
We are looking for a strong leader with exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with a willingness, desire and aptitude to learn new technologies with 8 plus years of work experience. The person we seek must be highly skilled in .NET development in the C# programming language with experience in .Net Framework 2.0 – 4.5 and ideally .NET Core 1.0. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding with Transact SQL programming in SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2016 and database concepts and must be fully proficient with ASP.NET MVC framework. The ideal candidate must have experience with Sitecore and Sitefinity content management systems, possess a Bachelor's Degree and have a working knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
