Fleet Feet Syracuse is seeking a marketing professional to join its marketing department for a full time position. This candidate will focus on event planning and execution, digital marketing including social media and website updates, community and public relations, and the strategic planning of various initiatives to aid in customer acquisition and retention. This position will report to the marketing manager.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field is required
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous marketing experience is required
All members of the marketing department are a part of a team with an overall goal of increasing sales through customer acquisition and customer retention. The marketing team handles the marketing for both Fleet Feet Syracuse locations – East Syracuse and Clay.
The marketing department works some non-traditional hours, such as evenings and weekends, depending on events that take place. Fleet Feet Syracuse seeks a candidate with a strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile to create a great experience for our customers. The marketing team is a fun group environment that allows for creativity and growth.
In addition to the marketing responsibilities, all Fleet Feet Syracuse employees work the sales floor, helping our customers. This position will have 15 hours per week dedicated to the sales floor to start, with all necessary training done prior to starting in the marketing department.
