The Garden Accounts Assistant will be responsible Garden Maintenance Crews and accounts receivable/payable billing and Supervising the Garden crew for that department. This positions serves as a liaison between clients, vendors and Garden Crews. This position is heavy in office support but there are regular on site visits ensure quality control. Sales and marketing are also integral to grow Garden Accounts, generate business and earn bonus. Must have strong communication skills, able to multi task and shift easily into changing priorities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Garden Mainteance Manager
Supervise Garden Mainteance Teams
Dispatch Garden Maintenance Crews
Daily check in with crews and 5 minute meetings
Train and hire employees
Visit job sites and follow up with customers to ensure quality control and suggest garden enhancements
Grow Garden Accounts and bring in new clients
Maintain and manage Garden Accounts billing/accounts
Marketing/Sales generate leads and sales for Garden Accounts
Meet and maintain client and vendor relations
Convert plans/estimates into invoices
Minimum one year of landscape/garden construction and/or maintenance or management Horticulture or a related field is preferred
Management or supervisory positions held
Sales or marketing
Irrigation repair or builds
Knowledge of integrated pest management and fertilization practices
Able to lead a team and comfortable giving direction
Capable of using power tools such as leaf blowers, mowers, and chain saws
Current clean Driver’s license
Clean Criminal record
Ability to lift up to 50lb. and maneuver
