Overview: A Lead Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions, reconciles and balances accounts and assists with financial inquires over the phone.

Job Description:
• Responsible for training and supervising Bookkeepers and Cash Out Admins• Reviews Accounts Payable batches for accuracy and proper approval
• Posts Accounts Payable batches to the accounting system
• Responsible for the compilation of the Accounts Payable month end accruals
• Responsible for balancing and collecting Accounts Receivables
• Reports Accounts Receivable aging concerns to the Controller
• Reviews and posts DSR
• Responsible for maintaining adequate Cash On Hand levels by completing deposits and requesting
change orders
• Prepares COGS and inventory journal entries
• Prepares standard journal entries related to revenue audits
• Manage the daily audit of venue operations to include but not limited to cash deposits, replenishment of
bar banks, review of promotional postings, assembling documents to be sent to corporate office, review
and process petty cash, balancing of safe funds and review of credit card receipts
• Gathers, assembles and files audit work in permanent files
• Responsible for maintaining and coordinating the storage of Accounting records
• Prepares Monthly Reports to include but not limited to Live Entertainment Tax, Club House, Petty Cash
and Deposit Received/Redeemed
• Responds and resolves guest complaints as it pertains to Accounting
• Responds to credit card charge backs and/or inquiries in a timely manner
• Documents and communicates any and all internal control issues to the Controller and/or Managing
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years experience in a revenue audit supervisory role is preferred
• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
• Must be able to multitask
• Must have worked in a fast paced environment
