  • Overview: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the TAO Group Sales Team. This candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, convention websites and chat rooms, in-house groups, and independent research. Build and cultivate relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications.
  • Job Description:

    • Develop new business via cold calling and convention research to introduce the TAO Group to the appropriate meeting planners and decision makers
    • Create leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
    • Reach out to incoming conventions and send out venue guides, photos, and floor plans
    • Work closely with the Marketing Department to create online sales blasts which specifically target each convention
    • Create monthly status reports on leads generated, sales generated, and overall recap of potential sales
    • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline
    • Work with the Director of Sales to develop and grow the sales to consistently meet revenue goals
    • Focus on the international market and bring awareness to the TAO brands located in Las Vegas
    • Drive leads via convention web sites, and chat rooms daily


    • Strong guest service and leadership skills
    • Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with strong attention to detail
    • A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential
    • Knowledge of Hoovers a plus
