This position is what drives our company’s collective progress by overseeing clear communication channels between staff and owners regarding all in-store affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for executing leadership over staff training, product purchasing, product transfers, as well as store maintenance and cleanliness.
Coordinate appropriate merchandising and back stock inventory between Fleet Feet Richmond locations.
Ensure each storefront is neat, clean, and well organized to maximize the overall customer experience.
Oversee the various daily store operations including: product purchasing, product transferring, store maintenance, inventory regulation, and transactional systems.
Train, install, and implement various Fleet Feet Inc. initiatives and systems to the entire staff.
Manage all vendor, partner, and contractor relationships.
Establish and maintain a positive staff culture, with focus on performance management, education, and constant improvement of the customer experience.
Eligible for compensational bonuses based upon meeting store growth benchmarks.
Be an ambassador for Fleet Feet at all activities, functions, and events as needed.
Other duties as required and directed by Fleet Feet Richmond to ensure the continued success of the Fleet Feet brand. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here
This position will require 40-45 hours per week with a willingness to work 5-6 weekend days per month. Willingness to go above and beyond when needed. Flexibility and positive reaction to change. Independent drive to meet and exceed sales goals. An overall understanding of what sets Fleet Feet apart and why customers come into the store. Ability to show customer service in all situations. Open availability including evenings and weekends. Retail and previous operational experience is required!
