Cyber Architect, Privileged Access Management

Clearance Requirement: Public Trust eligible

Primary Location: Washington, D.C.

Pay up to $170K annual salary

We are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Architect to provide subject matter expertise in Identity and Access Management concepts and capability with Authentication, Authorization, and Governance. The Cyber Architect leads and manages the design, development, implementation, and continuous refinement of enterprise scope and scale Access Management Solutions. These efforts are inclusive of leading enterprise strategy, development of program and technical roadmaps, managing and contributing to the formation of identity and security policy, and developing integration and build plans.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (e.g. CyberArk, CA/Xceedium, BeyondTrust) for enterprise organizations
  • Drive the development of a mature PAM capability including design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation
  • Develop standards and approaches to enable seamless and secure integration of PAM solutions
  • Act as a technical owner on initiatives involving Privileged Access Management
  • Champion PAM capability and integration with core security capability like IDM, AD, MFA, SIEM, and incident response toolsets
  • Lead requirements analysis, strategy, design, implementation, operations and application/business integration for business and technical operations on-premise or in the cloud
  • Provide recommendations to improve operational delivery, reduce errors/defects during process execution, ensure coordination with support (government and vendor) on all issues that are not considered routine in nature
  • Participate in the creation and ongoing maintenance of Architecture & Design documentation ensuring that clear, concise and accurate information is readily available

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience with designing and implementing IT Systems
  • 10+ years of experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) services, including Privileged User Identity, Privileged Password, session brokering, session management, and session recording
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing (PAM) solutions (e.g. CyberArk, CA/Xceedium, BeyondTrust) for enterprise organizations
  • 7+ years of experience integrating enterprise security solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management solutions (SailPoint, CA, IBM, Oracle, ForgeRock, etc.)
  • Experience with databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, operating systems and network infrastructure
  • In-Depth knowledge of commercial products used to develop ICAM solutions for Government clients (federal, state or local) in one of the additional following areas:
  • Identity Governance: SailPoint, Saviynt, or component of enterprise IAM suites like CA, Oracle, IBM/Tivoli
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): cryptographic authenticators capable of meeting assurance level 2 or 3 of the NIST SP 800-63-3B
