onathan Club is a private upscale member only club located in the Santa Monica.
Job Summary: The Restaurant Manager’s responsibility will encompass ensuring an exceptional dining experience for members and guests. Areas of responsibility for the Dining Room Manager will include the following:
Oversees all aspects of administrative, supervision and member interactions for “meal service” responsibility that includes station assignments opening / closing duties, and maintaining linen pars.
Responsible for ensuring members/guests receive consistent friendly, attentive and efficient service in the dining room.
Staff selection, scheduling, coaching, training, discipline and nurturing a cohesive team oriented work environment.
Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, club policies, practices and standards.
Reviews function sheets and reservations daily to ensure set up and service expectations are delivered.
Participates in weekly Food & Beverage Meetings.
Conducts staff pre shift meetings to ensure accurate, timely information is shared.
Implements established bar policies and food service policies assuring standard procedures are followed at all times.
Handles member complaints/feedback and take appropriate action to deter reoccurrence.
Develop internal reporting procedures for Food & Beverage activities that fall within the realm of his/her responsibility along with proper documentation of all member billings.
Works closely with Human Resource Staff and Food & Beverage Director to ensure compliance with State & Federal Regulations and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Participate in quarterly safety meetings. Implement safety initiates.
Tracking wine sales and coordinate pars with Director of Beverage.
